Part of the planned, unplanned, and cyclical maintenance contract work at Holyhead Port, a major ferry hub on Anglesey.
Works included:
- 21,000m2 of new surfacing
- 20,000 tonnes of imported rock armour to create a new revetment
- 19 new vehicle running lanes
- Improved vehicle, pedestrian, and trailer storage segregation
In addition, 42 per cent of the total spend of the project was spent locally on materials and local sub-contractors, while all surplus materials were recycled and reused within the port.
