Jones Bros finance director Osian retires11th Jun 2014
Award-winning finance director Osian ab Ifan has retired from Jones Bros.
Osian, who has worked for Jones Bros for eight years, has been instrumental in a number of key developments in the business, both financially, but also in areas including health and safety, quality, business development and human resources.
Jones Bros commercial manager Ruth Jones acknowledged the vital role undertaken by Osian during a time of rapid growth for the company. “Osian’s work alongside the delivery team, has given the company a platform for the growth experience and we thank him for his contribution,” she said.
Osian’s expertise was also recognised by his peers when he was named Best Finance Director of the Year North Wales at the 2013 Finance Director Awards.
The awards celebrate the best finance directors and their teamwork in helping lead their organisations out of recession. Osian was praised for his contribution to a family firm that has shown fantastic growth during his time there.
Osian’s relationship with Jones Bros will continue on a flexible basis as he provides supports to the company during its current transition to a new IT system.
