Jones Bros has been shortlisted in the ‘tomorrow’s company’ category of the Construction News awards.
The rapidly-growing civil engineering firm is one of seven finalists in the category, which recognises companies that have made impressive progress during the last three years.
Judges from the respected trade magazine were also looking for companies that have a clear strategy for growth and improvement over the next two years.
Construction News is the leading news magazine for industry professionals, and this year’s awards have received a “huge” number of entries according to organisers.
Jones Bros managing director Huw Jones said: “What is particularly pleasing about being shortlisted is that the judges were not purely looking for impressive financial growth, but also development in the services offered to clients.
“We also had to provide evidence of being a good employer in terms of training, development and culture. In addition we demonstrated a commitment to improving performance on sustainability and corporate social responsibility.”
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 12 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
