Renewables is one of Jones Bros’ specialist areas of work, having developed a reputation for being one of the UK’s leading contractors for balance of plant services.
Jones Bros is currently working to deliver infrastructure for the 76-turbine Pen y Cymoedd Wind Energy Project in South Wales. Operating in a joint venture with Balfour Beatty, the firm will provide civil and electrical infrastructure, on behalf of Vattenfall. The wind farm will be the largest onshore project in England and Wales, generating enough electricity to power 140,000 homes.
